SalibaCo, LLC

SalibaCo, LLC, is a family investment holding company and private family office established in 1999. The family has established a number of successful enterprises; most notably, LiquidPoint LLC., an options execution broker dealer and First Traders Analytical Solutions LLC. First Traders was a software development firm providing customizable trading solutions for electronic order entry, routing, and order management of options to all levels of options traders, market makers and exchanges. LiquidPoint and First Traders were merged into one company and sold to BNY ConvergEx group in 2007. The principal drivers of these businesses are members of the team, today.

SalibaCo, LLC is also the principal owner of Saliba Portfolio Management (SPM), an Illinois Registered Investment Advisor firm and Commodity Trading Advisor registered with the NFA. SPM manages an alternative investment fund employing the highly successful trading strategies and disciplines established by Tony while trading on the CBOE. In addition to its management of the fund, SPM also provides investment management services to individual clients customized to meet specific risk/reward profiles.

Anthony Saliba

Anthony (Tony) Saliba

Anthony (Tony) Saliba is the Founder and past CEO of LiquidPoint, LLC and executive managing director of BNY ConvergEx Group, LLC. He managed the options trading platforms for both the buy-side and sell-side investment communities for over 15 years. Tony founded First Traders Analytical Solutions, LLC, a provider of technological solutions for the trading industry, including front and back-end systems for options routing and execution that was established in 1992.

Tony is the founder of Saliba Portfolio Management, LLC., a portfolio management firm, founding member of Saliba Partners, LLC. an options trading firm on the CBOE and founder of International Trading Institute, Ltd., an internationally renowned derivatives training institution. Tony is a Founding Partner of Efficient Capital Management and a member of the Efficient Capital Management Advisory Board.

Tony's trading career began in 1979 at Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) trading equity options as an independent market maker. Later he traded most CBOE products, currencies and the S&P 500 contracts on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, along with the agricultural and interest rate products traded on the Chicago Board of Trade. He traded the SPX for four years on the CBOE floor. Tony was the only options trader to be profiled in the book, Market Wizards. He served on the CBOE's board of directors from 1987-1989 and has participated on numerous industry committees.

Michael Saliba

Michael Saliba

Michael Saliba serves as Chief Operating officer for Saliba Portfolio Management, a boutique investment management firm focusing on equity and index option strategies. He also serves as Chief Executive Officer for Vine Avenue Advisors. Vine Avenue invests on behalf of large institutions looking for yield enhancement and asset backed investments with higher yields and downside protection.

Michael served as a financial analyst and consultant to LiquidPoint, LLC, an option broker dealer from 2001 until 2011. Michael is also a Director for the Saliba Family Charitable Foundation; serves or served as a Director for several international companies such as Fortify Technologies, a web based technology company offering private and ad free email; sits on the Advisory Board for the Trilogy Capital Fund, a company that identifies, acquires, and manages a portfolio of real estate; and serves on the management team for SalibaCo, a family investment holding company and private family office. Michael maintains Series 3 and 65 licenses.

Paul Anderson

Paul Anderson

Paul Anderson has over 25 years of experience in trading and marketing derivatives in the European and American markets.

Prior to his role in Aavid Management, Paul was a Senior Derivatives Trader at JP Morgan, London where he headed the TMT and Industrial/Construction sectors with a focus on customer flow and principal positions.

Before joining JP Morgan, Paul worked with Citigroup in London and Frankfurt. In Frankfurt he headed the market making group responsible for German, Swiss, Austrian and Scandinavian Index and Equity options. In London, he was the Head of Single Stock Flow Trading where as the Head of a group of European flow traders, he focused on Customer flow on all major European underlyings, while actively pursuing principal trading positions.

Paul started his career in 1994 with the International Trading Institute in Chicago. In 1995 he joined Famous Traders Analytical Software in Frankfurt, where, as European Sales Director and Managing Partner, he was instrumental in establishing the Group's offices in Frankfurt, Milan and Sydney and coordinating the sales effort there. He was also responsible for providing functional and technical support for Research and Trade Software on equity, foreign exchange and interest rate derivative products.

Paul holds a double major in Economics and Political Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, with a concentration in International Economics.

Cherian Paul

Cherian Paul

Cherian Paul has more than 25 years of experience in Corporate Banking, Global Markets and Financial Derivatives.

Before co-founding Aavid Management, Cherian was Director, Client Relationships at Standard Chartered Bank in Dubai, UAE. He moved to the Middle East from India in 1998, when he joined ANZ Grindlays Bank, Dubai as a Senior Relationship Manager in the Corporate Bank. At ANZ Grindlays Bank and subsequently at Standard Chartered he worked closely with large corporate clients in the Manufacturing, Retail, Automobile, Technology, Pharmaceutical, Oil and Gas, Contracting and Trading sectors. He has also served as the Commercial Real Estate Coordinator for the Middle East Region for Standard Chartered.

Cherian started his career in 1991 as a Treasury Marketing Officer in Citibank, India. He worked with Citibank in Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai and Bangalore in various Client Relationship and Risk Management roles in Global Markets and Corporate Banking before relocating to Dubai.

Cherian was a certified trainer for the Credit Skills program at Standard Chartered and has conducted several training sessions and seminars on Corporate Banking, Treasury Management and Risk Management.

Cherian holds a Master's degree in Management (specializing in Finance) from the University of Texas at Austin, a Master's degree in Engineering, also from the same University and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, India.

Mathew Joseph

Mathew Joseph

Mathew Joseph has more than 27 years in the Information Technology field, specializing in project management, IT infrastructure support, and staff augmentation services.

Prior to co-founding Aavid Management with Cherian Paul, Mathew was involved with the Technology Deployment and Management Services Group (TDMS) at i-flex solutions ltd. Mathew has worked in various roles at i-flex ranging from IT infrastructure management, project management, HR and Training and finally held the position of Chief of Staff for the TDMS Group which encompassed areas such as Human Resources, Revenue Management, Pre-Sales, IT Processes and Training. Mathew started his career in the Training Group at PSI Data Systems specifically catering to the Bull mainframe platform and later continued with the Training Group at Wipro Systems Ltd.

Mathew has completed a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification as well as an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification. He was extensively involved in creating and implementing the roadmap towards CoBIT certification for i-flex and has also been involved in various information technology auditing engagements with i-flex's global customers.

Mathew holds a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) degree from Chapman University, USA and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from De La Salle University, Philippines. He also holds a Master's candidacy in Computer Science from Ateneo de Manila, Philippines.
